以上两个词意思虽然相近，但对英语国家的人来说却是完全不同的单词，一般情况下都能明确区分。
blame表示某人犯了错误、过失后处于受责备的境地，当事人对其过失承担责任并进行赔偿。fault也是责任的意思，但不含为过失负责任的意思。把fault看做是“……的过错”比“……的责任”更恰当。
